The National Examinations Board (NEB) has published the Second Lot result of Class 12 Retotaling. This time, the board has released only the results of remaining students who had received an NG (Non Grade), while the results of others will be published in the upcoming lot.

If you had received an NG (Non Grade) in your exam, only then your result will be displayed. If your symbol number is not listed there, it means your grade remains non-graded, indicating that there has been no change in your result.

What Can I Do if My Grade is Not Changed After Retotaling?

If your grade is not changed after retotaling, you have two options:

  • Apply for Rechecking within 15 days of retotaling result publication.
  • Give a Re-exam (Supplementary Exam) in the next scheduled examination conducted by NEB.

Copy Rechecking Procedure

If a student is not satisfied with the re-totaling result and feels they deserve better marks, there is a provision under the National Examination Board (NEB) that allows students to request for re-checking of their answer sheets. If the re-checking confirms that you deserve higher marks, you will be issued a new mark-sheet with the updated marks.

After the publication of the re-totaling result, if you are still not satisfied, you can apply for re-checking within 15 days of the re-totaling result being published.

  • Students with NG in 1 subject or absent in 1 subject, and D grade or above in all other subjects.
Exam Schedule & Instructions
  • Exam Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • 2082 Bhadra 28 (Saturday): Compulsory English (0041)
  • 2082 Bhadra 29 (Sunday): Other subjects; single subject students must take it on the first day.
  • Students appearing in 2 subjects: take the smaller code subject first (English before Nepali if applicable).
Fee & Application
  • Exam fee: Rs. 600/- per student (deadline: 2082 Bhadra 13)
  • Late fee: Rs. 1,200/- per student (deadline: 2082 Bhadra 20)
  • Schools submit collected vouchers/proof of payment and application forms to NEB by 2082 Bhadra 22.
Additional Instructions
  • Exam conducted only for 2 days; absent students will not get another chance.
  • Exam not postponed even if public holiday falls.
  • Bring required materials (graph papers, charts, log tables, vouchers, etc.).
  • No mobile phones, smart watches, or electronic gadgets allowed.
